I was surprised by the quality of the unit. It is very close to a professional model. Handy for a spare unit at the clinic or use by a nursing or medical student. The price is unbelievably economical. There are extra features like available magnification, two spare bulbs and an added eye chart. This purchase is hands down one of my best investments so far. I set out to find a pair of bandage scissors that were more distinguishable so if they ended up in someone else’s pocket I wouldn’t feel quite so bad about claiming them.
After a fairly quick search, I found these. They are really quite stunning. They work well for my intended purposes. I really only need them to cut coban and occasionally gauze. They do not come into contact with the actually patient. I am not sure if they can be autoclaved.... I normally just wipe them down with a cavi wipe. So far this has not damaged them.
